LTC Leave Travel Concession Recommendations: Sixth Pay Commission-I

Some more update on the Sixth Central Pay Commission, this time the update has come for the LTC or Leave Travel Concession. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance & Pension Department of Personnel Training has issued office memorandum related to the acceptance of sixth pay commission recommendations on LTC. Below we present the text as it appears in the office Memorandum.
LTC Leave Travel Concession Recommendations Sixth Pay Commission
The highlights for LTC Leave Travel Concession Recommendations are:

* Parents dependent on the Govt. employees are eligible for LTC irrespective of whether they are staying with Government employee or not.
* Fresh employees can avail 3 home town travel and one to any place in India during the first two block of for years.
* Travel entitlements for LTC will be same as that of official tour with no daily allowance.

The parents (stepmother and stepfather)who are wholly dependent on the Government employees shall be included in the definition of family for the purpose of LTC, irrespective of whether they are residing with the Government employee or not. The definition of dependency will be linked to the minimum family pension prescribed in Central Government and dearness relief thereon. The extant conditions in respect of other relations included in the family including married/divorced/abandoned/separated/widowed daughters shall continue without any change.

"Fresh employees can avail 3 home town travel and one to any place in India during the first two block of for years". It is understood. Gap between two LTC shoud be mentioned is not maintained.I am a new employ. I have not taken LTC in first three year of two block year (2006-2009). Can I take two LTC in last year of 2nd block year?
