The last day of elections is slated to be 6th March 2012 and hence there will be no possibility of any budget coming out before 6th March because of the code of conduct applicable by the Election Commission of India. Hence, it is certain that the budget will be announce only after 6th of March when the polling ends.
The date of General Union Budget of India for the year 2012-2013 is now finalized as 16 March 2012 and the Date for Railway Budget for the year 2012-2013 is now finalized to be on 14 March 2012 i.e. 2 days before the Union Budget.
