First it was NEC layoffs, then it was Hitachi Layoffs and now another elctronics giant from Japan is going for Layoffs. The news is not good for the employees of Panasonic. Another news of layoffs, another Japanese electronics company joining the group of companies to go for layoffs. The firm Panasonic, has decided to go for Panasonic Lay offs or Panasonic Job Cuts. As per AlJazeera, The Osaka-based company forecast on Wednesday that it would shed about five per cent of its workforce and register a loss of $4.2bn for the fiscal year ending in March.
"The company's business conditions have worsened particularly since last October, due mainly to the rapid appreciation of the yen, sluggish consumer spending worldwide and ever-intensified price competition," it said in a statement.
