Cliffs Natural Resources controlled Northshore Mining has decided to extend the plant shutdown at Northshore Mining taconite plant in Silver Bay. Now there is another round of bad news for Northshore Mining, which is reported to be going for new round of layoffs. Previously, they had laid off 120 employees and another 280 may be added to the list taking the total to 400. The news is not good for the employees of the Northshore Mining as the organization is going for job cuts. Now the situation is getting worse for the employees as the recession is taking a toll on all sectors and all of the sectors are feeling the heat.
