We had recently reported only a few days back about the DHL Lay off Job Cut and now its impact is being felt by the partner companies of DHL. ABX air is one such partner whose workers will suffer due to the lay off.
ABX Air has decided to go for a big Job Cut or lay off at DHL Express' freight hub in Wilmington.
How many employees will be laid off by ABX Air?
It is reported that around 283 employees will be fired from their jobs at DHL Express' freight hub in Wilmington and another 76 will loose their jobs at its Kansas City hub.
When will the ABX Air Lay off Job Cut happen?
It is learnt that the job cuts will take place over the next week.

Last week, ABX eliminated 158 jobs.

The latest cuts include ramp loaders, hardware technicians, sort supervisors and hazardous-materials specialists.
As per the news, DHL plans to hire United Parcel Service to replace ABX Air and ASTAR Air Cargo, which now transport DHL packages by air from the hub at the Wilmington air park. Much of the work done at Wilmington will be transferred to a UPS facility in Louisville, Ky. The company gets 90 percent of its revenue from two contracts with DHL, which said Nov. 10 that it would stop domestic shipping on Jan. 30 and offer only international service to U.S. customers.
ABX currently employs 6,800 workers at the Wilmington hub.
Let's hope that alternative jobs are available to the affected employees of ABX Air Lay off Job Cut.
