Haryana approves Pay hike from January 2006 for Sixth Pay Commission Recommendations

The latest news on the Sixth Pay Commission is coming from Haryana. It is learnt that the state government of Haryana has finally and formally given its approval to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission at the state level. There comes the big bonanza news from Haryana state government for the Haryana state employees. All the employees will get the revised pay from January 2006 onwards, as per the recommendations of the Sixth pay Commission. That will mean a big big amount for the payment of arrears for the last 3 years for the state employees of Haryana.

How much money will be required for the Haryana Pay hike
Around 15 billion or 15 Croroe Rupees have been provisioned in the state budget for the revised pay hikes.

How did the process go through for Haryana Pay hike
A committee was formed with Chairman of Haryana Chief Secretary to look into the matter of Sixth pay Commission recommendations and to decide the revised pay scales as per the recommendations of sixth pay commission. There were something like 225 suggestions made to the committee from the different departments of the government.

It's the election time, and now goveerment will leave any stone unturned to woo the voters. This is another example of how the taxpayers money will be used.

He said that keeping in view the interest of the employees the Government had made the ex-gratia scheme more effective for their dependents. This scheme would provide financial security besides giving social security to the employees.
