Sara Lee Layoffs Job Cut: fires 700 employees, outsources work

The economic crisis is hitting all sectors. Sara Lee, a multi-product company for various consumer products, has decided to go for layoffs - around 7000 employees will be fired by the company. It is learnt that these layoffs are being done to save costs and the work will be outsourced. Sara Lee Layoffs

Around 700 employees will be asked to quit their jobs at Sara Lee - this makes 10% of its total employee strength.
