I was in the 1st round of layoffs in September 2008. CEO's & Brand Presidents are telling Franchisee's at conferences that "no layoffs" will occur. Prior CEO Steve Renitzky left company with MILLIONS.

It appears Wyndham has already started their layoffs in Oregon and Washington beginning this week.

I worked for Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, until today.

Only heard from other colleagues that we had all lost out jobs, the company gave no adequate explanation, other than to read va short note saying we had lost our jobs.

Merry Christmas to you Wyndham, will not be for all your employees and those poor time share owners who borrowed too much, to buy an inflexible product.

My thoughts go out to all staff at the Wyndham resorts.

Sometimes, when one door closes another door opens. My company is growing and looking for Timeshare Sales people.

Good luck to everyone in finding what you are looking for.

I worked for Wyndham up to September 2008 and was surprised everyday that I showed up to work that the company hadn't yet gone bankrupt. It was, and remains, the most poorly-run company I have ever had the amusement to witness. It's sad that so many people had to lose their jobs, but I'm sure I wasn't the only one to see it coming.
