GE bought into the security market after 9-11. They gutted all of the core products from the Tualatin plant and sent them to China and Mexico. Now through their terrible miss-management the Tualatin plant is closing. The few jobs that are left will be moving to another location in the area. Honestly, I don't know why GE and Jeff Immelt are still around!
